Alexis akin-otiko
Alexis has been with DVLP almost since the beginning. She knows what it takes to build a complete skill-set that will translate to the next level. She brings experience from her four years of playing at Creighton, as well as her time coaching at the high school and college levels.
Coach Lex is a well-rounded trainer, just like she was a well-rounded player. She leads our Agility Club, and runs Small Group workouts as well. Her expertise ranges from footwork and balance to ball-handling, finishes, and shooting. She does a little bit of everything!
Coach Lex moved to Omaha when she was young, and played both high school and college basketball here. She loves helping kids from her hometown realize their full potential. She is passionate about instilling confidence in every kid that walks through our doors.
Coach Lex is happy to live near her family, who resides in Bellevue, and is excited to help DVLP continue to grow!

Lex was a 3 year contributor to a Creighton team that appeared 2 NCAA Tournaments. In her senior season, she started all 31 games for the Jays and averaged 13.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.4 blocks. These numbers earned her a Big East All-Conference recognition.
She evolved into a well-rounded scorer shooting 42.8% FG, 34.1% 3FG and 70.9% FT. Lex’s coaches praise her work ethic and commitment to skill development which manifested in her Big East Most Improved POY Award in 2015. Over her career, Lex racked up 717 points, 399 rebounds, 82 assists, 86 blocks, and 85 steals.
